About
I’m a UX/UI designer and ASU instructor with 15 years of experience helping nonprofits, foundations, and research institutions solve complex challenges through digital strategy, creative direction, and user-centered design. I often serve as the bridge between strategy, design, and implementation—guiding creative direction, collaborating with client stakeholders and developers, and helping ideas become clear, useful, and intuitive experiences.
I’m excited by complexity and the process of making sense of it. That often means learning an unfamiliar subject, listening to experts and users, and asking a lot of questions. I love figuring out what people really need and challenging assumptions along the way to make sure we’re solving the right problem in the first place.
As fun as it is to solve a puzzle, I’m truly motivated by a worthy cause. I’ve exclusively worked with nonprofits, foundations, research institutions, and universities—and I’m committed to working with organizations & businesses that give back in one way or another. The issues that energize me most are science and education, civil rights, and accessible and inclusive design.
If you’ve got a project that you think I’d be interested in, email me at merylpritchett@gmail.com.
